An interesting assay about the best fighters of WWII. May not be too useful for FM work but it takes up interesting parts of the air war superiority in both Europe and the Pacific. Comparing aircraft versions strengths and such. Planes discussed: Bf109, Spit, Fw190, P51, Zero, P38, Corsair and Hellcat.
A discussion on the compressibility problems of the P38 are also covered. Apparently the author's father worked as an AAF aeronautical engineer with the P38 during the war - his mail adress is posted so if anyone is searching for some hard to get info on that aircraft, maybe the author can help.
