cant see canopy in "F1"-view help !

Author	Topic: cant see canopy in "F1"-view help !
Laika 801 Pilot	posted 02-08- 05:03 AM When I swith to the F1 view I cant see the canopy parts anymore. When I look at it from the outside everything is ok. There are 2 objects/lods, both single sided - the outer canopy part (grey) and the cabin and inner canopy part (black). The normals are ok for these lods. What is wrong ? IP: Logged
Sv Pilot	posted 02-08- 06:26 AM Check the LODS - I dont do canopy stuff, but canopies are hidden from the inside on the shipping planes. I'm not sure how they do this, but my guess is that the highest level of detail is blank - so when viewed VERY close (from inside for example) - you don't see anything. Then from an outside view (further away) it switches to the next LOD that has teh canopy parts... Just a guess... ------------------ -Sv =FC= WWI in SDOE! IP: Logged
