When I moved my left aileron into its proper position is OPS, it quit working. It still functions in the game (i can roll and control the aircraft), but it doesn't move up or down when I turn.

All I did was move it from the spot were OPS imported it to the proper spot on the wing.

What gives?

I have noticed that every now then a copy and paste (or maybe even import) step results in the loss of all DOFs related to that part.

Check to see if there is a DOF for the aileron. Compare the DOF to the other aileron, is it there?

If it is not this, then did the name of the aileron model change?

The DOF was wiped out during import.

Can I just add a new DOF and then copy the info from the other aileron? (from the default aircraft)

Yes, exactly.

Or just create a new DOF - it is pretty easy.
