I vote we update the FM upon damage even if you can't see/hear it. It makes the fight more interesting. At least add a light smoke trail maybe so we know the enemy is suffering.I will tie an FM update to my damage model replacement event - so when you see the wing shot up there will be more drag maybe - what other FM updates could we make under various damage scenarios?
Airfoils: wing damage, control surface deflaction? (airMax) - shoot an aileron and it won't move as far maybe... Hmmm
Engine: damage = less horse power? Maybe if we can get real fancy we can hack the prop on damage to simulate various types of engine damge - so maybe low oil pressure = worse high rpm performance or something...
Wheels: Damage to wheels will weaken the springs.. can we update spring strength? Hmmm...
I am not sure what can/can't be updated in real time... but if that engine horse power prop list works than many things might work!
