Hello!

I have done some 3dmodels in Maya. Can I open them in StudioMax? Is there some common format? I have both these programs and I´m trying to learn Max. I´m more familiar with Maya though, so it would be great to be able to do the the modelling in Maya and then move them to Max (because I have to do that to get them to OPS later,or?).

Thank you/Robert

What is the file format of Maya? Also, perhaps Maya allows export to something Max can import.

Isn't Maya the horribly expensive package they did the last star wars movie with?

Uhhh... Yes TS it is...

What this thing can do is truly mind-blowing, makes 3ds-Max look like an etcha-sketch.

Here's a link to the Maya Builder page.
