I was wondering if it is possible to show damage to the cockpit? Also if it is possilbe to show damage to the glass canopy? Is the canopy just one LOD or could it be made up of perhaps 4 LODS so that damage to it could be shown according to were it was hit(left-back, right-back, right-front, left-front)? It would be cool to see the cockpit get shot up as well? Just wondering?

The canopy can be made up of many LODs. What you're suggesting is entirely possible, as far as I know.
I am considering doing this for the P-47 I'm working on... well, with Bjorn or anyone else's Openplane help, that is. Where is Bjorn anyway?

The front of the BF109 windscreen shows oil stains when the engine is 20% damaged. Right now I am working on detaching the movable canopy when it gets a certain amount of damage.

I thought we had the oil smear on the windscreen of the Spit IX when the engine was damaged. Or did that not go in?

It's easy to edit the Spitcockpit sm file to work with the Spit Ia. I did it and I'm a complete Openplane novice.
