I was just mucking around with the Ambient and Infinite light sources and I noticed that the default terrain is now effected by Infinite lighting changes. I may be wrong, but I thought that when I tryed this in that past that the terrain didn't darken, wasn't this why someone actually darkened all of the textures?. Has something changed in later versions?

Also, what texture flag(s) control lighting/shading? I've tryed turning "Off" and "On" the tex_Shade and tex_Fog and they seem to have no effect on terrain super textures at least. Is there any performance to be gained from turning off shading for pre-light terrain textures? I would probably think so generically speaking.
