Hi guys,I m currently working on a software which will make offline games more fun. It will organize the missions you play, ie. it will direct you certain missions if you win or lose. (Thanx Rendsburger for the idea) Now, I have to extract a file from a par file. I am able to extact it by using parfile tools but I want to make it with my software. I have to know the format of *.par files, and how to extract them. Thnx. -Galland IP: Logged |

If you can get hold of Elric ( I think ) who was working on 'Optoolkit', a second generation OPS type tool, one of the features he was going to add to it wa a parfile extractor and builder. Guess he knows the format Otherwise, I would drop a mail to the guys over at Wings with Wires .... Bryan Russel probably knows something on the subject ------------------ The Cadet formerly known as W.T.G. IP: Logged |

Galland,Email me elric@optoolkit.org and I'll send you the source. It's written in Delphi 5 but it wouldn't be too hard to port to C++. 7.JG3_Elric -- last seen fragging noobs on DoD
