I cannot, no matter what I do, get the Ai to raise the Wildcat gear.Would someone PLEASE let me send you the latest file and see if you can track this problem down? If this is fixed, it only needs a minor FM tweak and it's finished from an FM standpoint. The model is very complete too. This is the version Razer updated to allow the engine to break off at the firewall and leave some pieces on the firewall hanging. IP: Logged |

I fixed this problem on the D.520, so I'd like to have a look at this one. Problem is, my fix affected the FM. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't mind it at all if the fix affects the Wildcat FM, I can always readjust it. I'll gather the files and send them to you Sunday IP: Logged |

one reason for AI not lifting gears that not maney people know about, is the loation of the airfoil points on the wings, I don't know why this happens, but it does, here's an example of what happend with the IL4:The IL4 always raised it's gear under AI control, but it seemed to me that the nose wasn't getting enough lift, a way to fix/help this is simply to move the airfoils on the wings forwards, this did help a little, but after moving the airfoils only a couple of notches forwards, the AI would no longer raise the gear, after putting the airfoils back the AI would raise gear again. So, it happens, it is a cause of the problem, but why it happens I have no idea, it's just worth telling you about it so you know for the future and can maybe try altering the airfoils to see if that helps. ~Nat~ IP: Logged |

Nat, the problem on the D.520 was also that the airfoil points were too far forward.IP: Logged | |
