This probably should have gone into the Patch forum, but it's not a patch related problem, and it's not really a 'problem' either, more a FYI:

When building PAR files, I found that folders and possibly files packaged with more than 12 characters are ignored when SDOE is launched. Example, I am packing the Ground Pack into a PAR file (DATA9.par), I had all the vehicles listed, put the PAR file into Media, fire up SDOE, all the vehicles show up except for the Halftrack AAA. This had me stumped for a little while, then I tried changing the HalftrackAAAs' folder name under the Aircraft dir to 'M16' instead. Repackage the PAR...it works! So I guess it's best to keep the foldernames of aircraft or vehicles short (under 12 characters) to avoid probs especially when the folders are under \media\aircraft\. Though when the HalftrackAAA folder was out of the PAR file and under the Aircraft dir, it shows up fine. Only when you pack stuff up in a PAR file, it seems an extra level of filename 'strictness' applies. Just FYI...
