Ok, here I am wanting to add a new fast prop to the Airco D.H.2

I took the engine spinner off of the Fokker E.III and stuck it onto a fast prop. I exproted the lod from AC3d and then imported into OPS and everything looks well! But then I went into the game and the prop "disk" which was brown now turned a transparent black!!!! I checked the texture index and it IS correct. So why did the color of the spinner go from brown to black?

BTW other than that the new fast prop looks really cool!! Thanks Sv for making that engine spinner on the Fokker E.III!

check to see if the alpha channel is active in the texture flag...that can do it!

Check to see if it is just RGB or RGB and A

check to see if the index is right on the spinner. If the index was from another plane then the index for the texture in your plane could be pointing to a black texture.

You know you can set the indexes in AC3D, so go into vertex mode and highlight each part and rest the indexes.

Well the black prop is stil using the alpha chanel! It looks exactly like the origonal brown prop fast, except now instead of being a transparent brown strobing prop, its a transparent black strobing prop. That means that it is an alpha channel. (I checked too) Also in OPS, the texture of the fast prop looks as it did before I put the new engine on it.

The texture index is also correct. Its set to 1, which is the propfast texture. The index was from the D.H.2

Any other ideas?
