No idea for what you're trying to do, but a work-around would be to just use Hippie's OLC tools to break the model into .lods and then move the .lod to whereever you're trying to put it.If you're trying to take a .lod from one plane to another, you can always open TWO instances of OPS, open one plane in each OPS, copy the part in one, and paste it into the other. I've never had a reason to actually export a .lod, since I always just break the model down into all its .lods to work in AC3D, or copy directly from one model to another in OPS and then change names as necessary. ------------------ --jedi-- IP: Logged |

I don't know why, but the lod export from OPS isn't working with the import to AC3D. I do it the same way as Jedi, it is a whole lot easier. Another BIG plus in doing it this way is that you get all the lod levels of the part you want to alter. Import back into OPS is fine with the fixed lod import plugin. Use SMD to break down the model into it's lods, import the lod into AC3D, modify it, export it as a new name, and then import to OPS. You still have the old lod as a backup too!
p.s. I have had the PC lockup trying to import lods into AC3D that OPS has exported 8(
