It just started doing this. If I put two planes (not two on the same property file but two seperate aiplanes) the mission editor gives me a fault message and the extra plane is gone when I reopen the mission in the editor. The mission also will not show up in the game.

Any answers on this one? Jeeves?

Hmm....let me ask a couple questions first:

What editor are you using- patched or nonpatched?

Are the planes on the same field? Are they the same allegiance? Are they the same type?

I have been using the nonpatched version the last few days to make missions for the update pack....36 and counting with no problems....good thing too- or I'd be out of a job

Hawk-- let me know, if you can, everything in the mission and what terrain, clouds, etc and I will try to reproduce it to see what happens

Jeeves, any mission, any envoirment. If I put 6 of the same plane in the same group, no problem but if I add another, any other, even the same plane, in another place on the map it crashes when I save and the secound plane or group is gone when I open the mission again in the editor.

I am using the editor in the patched version and did not have this problem before. Maybe the patch has done something?

Could be... I would post this on the Patch Forum at WWW and see what they say.

Sorry man-- I have noticed some weird goings-on with the patch editor too....it is fun to play with, but any serious mission making I do is in the unpatched editor.

Same problem here, I mentioned this over a week ago and it's when using the newest patches.

OK, me too. I have the patch loaded in a completely separate directory... Shared DLL??? How can I get my original mission editor back... (I never even fired up the one in the patch directory....)
