I am trying to put the P47 engine startup smoke into the P26. I have the smokers (9 of them hehehe) and the engine starter under prop. I think I have all the correct text added under properties but no smoke, no show.
Any thing I could have missed?

Do you have a contact point on the part to break off to trigger the smoke? Do you have the onChildDetach properties on the Prop?

Hi Razer, yes I have the detach thing under prop and there is a point with an arrow that I think is the break point. It seems to be too far from the prop though. Don't know where is goes, the one on the P-47 is in the same place but it could have been moved.

are you running it in a Beta?

The thing is triggered by a breaking dof, and in the Beta builds, there are problems with the breaking dof's working.

Hawk, I'd be happy to take a look at it. I just added this to the P-51D and man it looks cool. You really see the smoke with the exhast being close to the cockpit.

You don't have WIND enabled in your test mission, do you? Wind can break off the DOF foil prematurely, and the smoke will blow away before you can see it sometimes (although you should hear the explosion...)
