I modified the Ta-152 FM in OPS and got everything place correctly. Now the landing gear won't lower or raise and the cockpit gauges don't work. Is this an OPS thing?I moved 4 inertia boxes, added a gear ratio to the engine, corrected the wing area, aspect ratio, chord, engine HP and prop radius. I also modified the wing and wingtip efficiency and airadvantage. I didn't do any cockpit mods, so I can't understand why this would happen. The aircraft now has the correct topspeed, climb rate, and a corrected roll/turn rate. You can shoot it down without having to hit the wings now- the fuselage takes damage. If you can help me find the other problems, it'll be ready for PP 6.1 I was going to work on the Typhoon, but now I'm not so sure. I need to know what causes this first. Thanks. ------------------ "Where'd he GO!?!?" thunk-thunk-thunk-zing-OUCH That answered my question IP: Logged |

Da Jug...Don't know how to help, but just wanted to say thanks for doing some FM work-- it is good to see people who don't mind the hard work....and I didn't want it to be entirely thankless for you Now if we can only get the AI to fly the better FM's correctly,...us mission makers would have it easier if the AI actually did what you told it to do...I am having trouble with a rebellious group of Stukas that refuse to bomb an enemy ship ------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! One thing to be very careful of in OPS is using the "undo" function when you're moving a part or especially moving a DOF. If you move a DOF and make a mistake, don't use "undo." It may DELETE the DOF. Sometimes you can recover by clicking a different part, switching to camera, then back to the part you wanted, and it will remember the DOF info. But if you forget, and then save the model, bye-bye DOF Always save your model frequently, and make separate saved versions at "key" points, so when it gets screwed up, you don't have to go back to square one. ------------------ --jedi-- IP: Logged |

Problem found- OPERATOR ERROR I had renamed the model in OPS from fw190d9 to ta152, and didn't change the reference for the queries. The beta is now available. ------------------ "Where'd he GO!?!?" thunk-thunk-thunk-zing-OUCH That answered my question IP: Logged | |
