I'm working on my C-5 and the thing actually kneels now and looks so cool, then you can raise the nose (the visor) up and soon I'll have a ramp fold down for vehicles to drive up on and into the plane. (not sure if THAT part will work, driving into it but we'll see).

Anyhow, the dofID 'steer thing will NOT work for me. I've even tried cutting and pasteing nose gears from other working planes and nada, zip, nothing doing. I was up until 5:30 AM struggling with it. And even though the C-5 has 4 MLG Bogies (each with 6 tires) I made all the tires part of the lowerstrut, and then the actual rolling wheel is attached to that but invisible. The only drawback is all those MLG tires don't roll, but it still looks neat when they retract/extend. Almost exactly like the real thing.

But the steering thing, can anyone give me a hand with it?

Thanks Tony!

For others benefit, what he told me to do...

Look in the properties of the main object of the plane (example, P51B) look for vehSteer and make sure the name is the same has the part you want to move.
