This page provides airfoil info on a bunch of aircraft.

Did you know the Fokker Dr1 uses the Gottingen 298

or that the Hawker Tempest uses the H/1414/37.5 (14%)

You would not believe the # of aircraft listed here.

There are also some links provided on this page to airfoil data sites.

The question that I've got is how do you get this airfoil info into a .ppf format. The two look very dissimilar.

Some sites have the data for various airfoils. I've collected a couple of links on them, and am gradually collecting more.

I'm also collecting links to sites with airfoil design & analysis software (freeware versions). One looked promising, but the max speed you can input is 250 mph for it to generate a data table.

Once I find what I can, I'll post the links on the open plane page at fighter squadron central. That will give the guys with lots of experience a jump point where they can go look at these apps and recommend othe ones best suited for use with Open plane.
