No, its not a stupid question. First thing I would do is email Andy at AC3D and find out if he knows what is wrong... AC3D is a very nice tool. Plus sv's tutorials were done with AC3D and thats all you need to know... After that its patience and practice

thanks.
p.s can u texture map somit without the full version? because i feel most at home and i fined it much easer modeling in Amapi 4.5.
cos then could i just import somit into Ac3d then texture map it then EXPORT it ? without having to save it (whitch is the locked out feature of the DEMO/TRAIL version)

AC3D is very buggy - on all 3 of my systems. Some have good luck with it, not me. I hear it relates to what video card you have... Nvidia works better according to Andy. Old crappy cards seem to work better

Here is what I need to do to run it:

Start it and close it twice. Then run it as normal... this allows all the windows to draw.

I see no bounding boxes when selecting - and it takes about 5 seconds from when I let the mouse button go until it gets selected.

I put up with all this while modeling my planes LOL... but I still love AC3D
