Got all of the shadow correctly set up but it is just flickering lines. I have the alpha shadow texture. I have the right tags. I have it sized and shaped correctly. Must have forgotten something.

You need to se the sub-face nesting value because the shadow is flush with the terrain.

Open up an old shadow LOD that works and look at the flags - see how they differ from your new shadow LOD? Just copy in this flag for your poly. Fixed!

Thanks SV. I nested my sub and changed it's flags and now it is almost happy. I have sent you an email showing another shadow problem. It seems as if not all the shadow is there.
