sure is! Been using it for a while! Really nice for showing textures etc. and converts between a lot of really useful formats.

It says it expires ( it's shareware ) but mine hasn't stopped working...

I use 3DExploration a lot. Couldn't do much without it. In fact, I contacted the authors about adding an .LOD export plugin to it. They said it's in the queue. No timeline for it but it's being worked on.
