This is very weird, in OPS a texture for an electrical box in the cockpit of the 163 appears as sharp as a diamond! Take a look.

But, in game it looks like crap. Observe.

The tiff is 256 by 256! Whats going on here!! All the other textures look sharp in both OPS and in-game! GRRRRR!!!!

there's a couple of things to check.. this happend to me in the past.. firstly.. make sure you have the game detail sliders set to max! Sounds simple right, but I missed that one when I had this problem.. lol

Next, this relates to the new terrain problem.. check the Distance setting for the texture in the textures properties in OPS, if it's not set far enough the texture will blur.

There may be other causes but off the top of my head I can't think of them

Fixed it! Thanks Nat! It wasn't anything you mentioned but you triggered my thought. I went and looked at the texture settings and the settings said the file was only 64X64 not 256X256!!
