No answer in the WWI section, so I'll try here.

Well I've got the first bugs worked out of the balloon busting mission (found a bug in the mission editor, the heading and speed values are swapped. This ripped the wings off the old WWI crates cuz they wer ging in excess of 210 mph instead of 90 mph).

The observation balloons are posting a problem.
The obs balloon that's a ground object takes WAY too much damage- I unloaded all of my ammo from a Neuport 17 and it only started smoking. The other planes won't attack it either- even though it's designated as the mission objective.

Next, the balloon that's an aircraft has a much more realistic DM, but won't stay in the air. I've tried several different options including assigning it a CAP mission for 20 minutes. It always falls to the ground. I even gave it a velocity of 1 mph to see what would happen- didn't work.

How do I either:
1. get the AI to attack the balloon that's a ground object? or
2.get the aircraft balloon to stay into the air?

BTW- the AI flying the Albatrosses is a LOUSY shot.

Once I get this figured out, I need to find out why the AI keeps flying all of the AI controlled planes from both sides into the ground during a dogfight.
