OK, here's the deal.. when I added the latest engine DM to the IL2 it went from having perfect ground handling, to slewing around the runway cause of the better low power torque from multiple engines, which is the complaint most have about ground handling.. well, I fixed it, and it was a simple thing that I think is going wrong with most aircraft with this problem..

The only thing I changed was to add this to each tire..
ptMaterial 'rubber
That easy, it seems most aircraft now don't have rubber wheels, so I think by default they become cement, and it's making the ground handling suffer alot! after adding the material it handles perfectly on the ground now. So please guys, if you're having trouble, just try adding this and hopefully that is the general fix for the problem (given that you're gear isn't twisted ofcourse ) Hell, add it all the time to make sure! The tail gear that seemed to be the problem is the original from the Jug, with no alterations other than now adding the material, could also be an idea to check this on the Hog

Hmmm. I had "rubber" tires on the Hog at one time--didn't seem to do anything, but I'll try it again.

Another thing you can do is increase the airArea of the vertical stab (or move its airPT farther aft). This will increase the positive directional stability of the aircraft, and also make the rudder "work" more effectively. The down-side is that it may also unrealistically decrease the ability of the plane to spin, so if you go this route, you need to try to stay as close to the "real" airArea as possible.
