Hey guys, OK, there is a problem with the fastprop and it's really starting to bug me now.. it's supposed to show the mossi propfast, when I tried to change the texture ref it freaked out and would show the wrong texture, Argon had a go at fixing it, and it's part way there, but the wierd thing is, even though it's supposed to show the mossi fast prop, often in missions it will take on the fast prop of other aircraft types, I can't see whats going on with it, but it really needs sorting out, so if anyone would like to volunteer to try and fix it please apply within  Here's the IL2 in basic winter skin over a retextured snowy dover

Remember:These "closet" models (models above the root level of your aircraft) have names that are global in the game! So two aircraft that share names for a fastProp may very well have the confused identity problems you mentioned. The fix: Just rename the fastProp to something like youraircraft_fastProp. This will fix it ------------------

Thanks SV, this may very well, help, see what I wanted to do to start with, was import a new model to the fast prop, that ofcourse screwed the apping and it showed up the main tif instead of a prop, after that, we'll it went from bad to worse.. LOL, so I'll try what you've suggested and see if I can get my own model back in there with the tif I want this time IP: Logged | |
