 always thought this would be cool to add to the DM, thought I saw it once on the Spit, but only once an that was way way back, never seen it since, so I'm tying this into the enging DM, should be fun flying with an oil splashed windscreen  ~Nat~ ------------------

If it helps, I too have experienced this once with the Spit, pre-PP6....and only once. It surprised the heck out of me, never having seen it before ( or since ), and I have been known to prefer flying a Spit now and then.I know it was definitely during the PP 5.3 era.
