Hey Condor, now I've gotten alot done on the IL2 this last day or so, I'd like to add your latest engine DM model to it, but I'm not sure how to do this, I have a copy of your template from http://www.fightersquadron.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/001232.html but don't know if I need to add all this by hand, or if it can be added via cut/paste.Would you please let me know the best way of adding this, and if possible give me your latest version? It seems silly to work much more on the engine if I will be adding this, and to add it sooner rarther than later makes alot of sense. Thanks Condor ~Nat~ ------------------

OK.. DUH! I added your example from the post ref above using the notepad edit thingy, so I can just work through it and change some of the values now, so thats cool  but if you have a newer version I would really appreciate it, thanks Condor, don't know if I said before, but thats damn tedious work you've done there, and done it well ~Nat~ ------------------

Hi Nat and THANKS!Yes, that is very tedious work, but "tedious" is my middle name. I have improved on that engine damage code somewhat. If that is good enough for you as a base to start with, great, if not you can email me a copy of the sm file and I can put in the latest for you. It will take me about 5 minutes to do it. Hey Condor, well for the time being that older DM will be fine, there's still alot of FM work and model work to be done so I'm not in a rush for it, maybe in about a week I'll really be asking for it for real testing then, I have noticed that the older DM isn't very visual so far, but then, I think thats down to that damn 109 blowing my wings off rather than taking the engine out.. well, that'll stop once I get the armour plating sorted out  yep, IL2 will have armour built into it's DM and model, should be cool when it's all working together, your engine DM, my airfoil DM, damageable armour plating, bullet and shell holes, flak burns.. am I gettin to deep into this building lark? LOL Been looking at the IL2 Stumovik pics Oleg posted, I got alot of work to do now so that I don't feel bad about this when it's done.Thanks again Condor, I'll get back to you in a few days/week when you're about finished up ~Nat~ ------------------
