Hey, I am messing arond with something cool, but can't get the engine to run. Its a jet engine. It starts, I can go up to about 25% throttle, then its shutts down and won't start again. Now, on the Me262 the engines horsepower settings wer like this 1200/800 I switched it to about 1500/2000. Any hints? Thanks.------------------ "Don't move, if we scatter, he'll pick us off! Too high of an RPM, and not enough HP is my guess... Also check the fuel.IP: Logged |

Hehehehe...You used the left engine from the 262 din't ya? It's some sort of DOF/bug to the extent that the DOF breaks upon throttling ... (I only know this because the F-86 orignially used the left engine and I had the same problem.) IP: Logged |

this is something I found with the A10, I dunno why, but SDOE wont let you have "any" RPM setting you want, and with the A10, once I hit a certaiin RPM one engine would shut down, thats what caused all my problems of the aircraft pulling off to one side, once I got the HP/RPM set right the engines both ran, so you need to look at the RPM, it doesn't mean you can't set it higher, you can, but there must be some kind of ratio and if you're to far out it will shut it downIP: Logged |

Figured it out, I was using the right engine, the values I had in were 20000/18000. Ouch.IP: Logged |

Aladar, I fixed the having to use 3 engines problem and the 163 now only has one engine that propells the rocket quite fast! IP: Logged | |
