I tried to add a third engine to a plane and this was hard work, but it works, the only problem i have is that the prob is not exactly centered to the engine.I game this looks curios if the engine start and the prob circling in the 3 directions.

Help needed

Hi Rendsburger!

Did you copy and paste the prop? Where did it come from? Do you mean the normal prop, or the blurry moving propFast?

The prop mesh must be centered around the origin. It does not matter where the propFast is in OPS, it will replace the slow prop and take over its location. So make sure the slow prop is inthe right place.

Yes i have copy//paste the prop. I try it with the ju88.I have replaced the CPHW with a third engine and one rockedpod with the propeller. Then i have moved it to the third engine. Then i have edit the object properties and the third eng works now,but not centered!

Hi Rendsburger,

Your problem is probably due to the DOF. The easiest thing to do would have been to Edit|Copy a exiting engine, that should include all of its properties, DOF's and child parts such as the prop, and then paste it where you want it. After that just delete the rocket pod and CPHW if you don't need them.

You will have to edit the engine properties a little to reference the new prop, and also the model with the CAircraft obProto to tell it about the new engine.

If you need the new engine to look different, then just import a new mesh for it.
