B17.....hmm yes....
There is a copy posted on my crappy little site, which has the tail and nose that come off. Trouble was, I didn't know where to stop! There was a link posted somewhere, can't remember where, but the textures were shot! I'll mail you a better version when I get home. Check out the screenshots I posted in general a while back to see how the inside looks.
I am building a new 17 from the ground up, complete with full interior and crew. If you still feel you want to, get those crew modelled and I will fit them into the new B17.
Top of the list is a gunner model. The pilot and co-pilot are less urgent as things stand. What I need is:
Good head model with a face that looks like a face
Lower polycount body
low poly legs
Arms and legs modelled in sections to allow 'posing' without distortion
I want to have a generic 'gunner' with a torso that contains an inertia box and has obHits. The guns will be a child of that object. The gunner body is, in effect, the turet. This would allow the same model to be used for all the gun positions, with parts moved in the model to change legs & arms.
You would, in effect, have a 3 model crewman.
Head and torso...model 1
legs....model 2
arms.....model 3
If you can do that for me, project B17 takes a big leap forward. I can model just about anything ever made, but people just don't work when I do them!
