I have been having some problems in all of the OPS versions. I align a DOF just right, then I go and move anything and it skrews up the alignment. I've even tried saving the file after I align it and before I move it, and it still doesn't work. Please help me.

"Welcome to the DOF Russian Roulette game" ...

The problem is when you move any object that is the parent of a DOF'd object you effectively screw the childs DOF.

(I learned all this the hard way)

You have to move bothe the partent AND children to their origins ... align as you normally would, "THEN" move the parent to where it's supposed to belong. (NOTE: you cannot rotate the parent now or it's screw your DOF again)...

If a part is out of alignment or position, move it to the correct orientation in your modeling program before exporting...

It's a huge pain-in-the-ass ... but you'll get the hand of it!

Yep, it is a good idea to move both the wing and the airlon to the origin together, then export seperately since the airlon has no airfoil properties of it's own and the wing airfoil includes the airlon. This applies to any part that has a movable part.

It's even more fun if you use .OL files in AC3D!

The DOF ends up attached to the properties, and you can't visually edit them in OPS!

You have to re-create the DOF and then try to position it where you want it to be!
