Hi Eyes,

I am very new to this too, but I can only open .sm files by starting OPS first and then opening the .sm file from within OPS. If I just double click on the file using the Explorer/File Manger, I get an error just like that one.

I hope this helps.

Apperantly there must be some problem with the D3D Scene Manager and the new NVidia drivers, are you using these? The module <unknown> seems to correlate to that part of D3D (maybe its to embarressed to show itself)

Most people fix it by adjusting some of the driver settings, the 'Force depth buffer to screen depth' (or whatever) seems to be a common one.

Condor is also right, it will crash alot if you open by double clicking an icon
