On Sv.s tutorial it says ! Go to the DOS prompt an type: extractor FokkerDr1a SE5a This will go nuts and build the follwong important files:
SE5a.asc......

When I type extractor nothing happens but when I type in SMD the LODs are created but not the asc file. Do some a/c have no asc file?

Thanks

Extractor/builder have been replaced by Hippie's new tools, smd/olc. The .asc file is no more, but the .ol file has the same information in it. Apart from the new names, Sv's tutorials are still valid (and excellent). You really need to have more than a look at the README filed that came with Hippie's tools: you can't use them effectively without understanding a few things that are not explained elsewhere.

Good luck!

The .asc was used with the extractor/builer tools. You are using SMD/OLC. Look at the .ol file. That is what replaced the .asc file
