From all the testing I have done(with having periods where I would get several CTD's in a row and then periods with none at all), I have realized the only thing common to both situations was whether or not the current texture cache file has the pp5.3a p51 in it as well as the new P51 beta 4. I will continue to test this out, but I have been able to rule out all other possibities. The ctd does happen when the engine area of the 51 is hit, so I figure there must be some conflict there. Maybe it is the new 3d exhaust pipes. Anyway as I said as soon as I delete the old cache file, no ctd's.

Please tell me I am on to something here or if my latest thoery is no good.
