Hey guys, I spent 2 hours making a 7 tube HEAT rocket launcher for the A10, looks wicked, but it crashes the game on trying to load the aircraft, all the refs etc in OPS are correct, remove the launcher game plays fine, add the launcher CTD.. can anyone tell me how to fix it, or take a look at it to see whats going on?

What is it set as? obProto COrdPylon? or obProto COrdBay? Do you have the correct ordType specified?

I got CTD problems with the B24. OPS displayed them fine, but they crashed in game. Turned out to be a dodgy piece of geometry. Did an optimize surfaces in AC3D and it removed 20 odd faces that were degenerate. No more CTD.

If max has a similar function, this could be worth a try.

Thanks TG, I'll have another go now, I did notice a wierd thing, which was the model looked fine when I built it, but when I exported it from OPS and opend the obj again in Max it looked all square with no smoothing at all, and id did say something about identical point, so I'll see what I can do in Max, I did optimize it, but possibly trying it again might fix it. Cheers TG
