The STOVL version looks almost identical. It has thrust vectoring nozzles that work just like those on a harrier, except they are inside the fuselage. Here is a shot of the SVOTL belly. http://www.boeing.com/defense-space/military/jsf/images/7-stovlnobkgrnd.htm TVC
