Well, the stukas dive siren's were called the Horns of Jerico, so anywho, what I was thinkin, what it we had a invisible object on the stuka, with a breakoff point at around 400mph, and when it breaks off the sound you hear is the dive siren! Would that work? I tried the dive siren commando had but I just don't like it, it max's out my speakers, it crackles. I'll look for a MSFS dive siren. LMK if it would work!!

Aye, it would be kewl if it could work this way. But what calls a sound?

P.S. The siren sound sounds just fine on my computer. (I use a Soundblaster Live!)

Aldar, what I'm saying the problem would be is this..

The DOF breaks and the siren starts.. but it wont stop, you only have a way to start it. Also, if you manage to find a way to stop it, it wont sound again in another dive because the DOF is already broken.. All that said, I can't honestly think of a good solution

We could have the breaking airfoil call the command for "G" that way you would only hear the sound as if you had pressed the key, If you want to hear it again you would have to press "G" yourself. That should solve both problems.

On the Parent Object ju87g2 add;

(obFunc (Scream (cmdGearToggle)))

On the breaking airpoint

(onDetach (obExec (Name 'ju87g2 Func 'Scream)))

I just tried this and it works, Great idea Aladar.

What makes the sound? If you use the detach sound, then won't parts of your plane breaking off make the siren sound?

You know Sv, I thought of that too, and knew it would happen, but if a stuka gets a wing blown off and it starts a very fast descent, spinning, the siren would come on anyway, wouldn't it?
