Hey guys, can you explain to me what the effect is when these airfoils are added, I need to do something that will lower top speed, and increase E Bleed in turns/climbs while not loosing actual engine power and think this is what I need. Lowering enging HP/RPM isn't really a solution to this problem

The cyl airfoil is good for adding drag for parts like the fuselage itself, but it is not a way to increase e-bleed in turns. Also Pang has created a special "drag" airfoil that has no bearing on AOA - good for wires, gear struts, and other non AOA dependant drag.

As far as e-bleed in turns, for this you must edit the wing's airfoil. To alter climb rate/top speeds you need to alter the engine and prop along with the cyl airfoil drag and weight. Most of the challenge IMO is with the prop...

Make sure you have your wing areas, aspect ratios, airK and chord values set correctly or you may not have enough speed bleed.

If your plane is too light or you do not have proper incidence dihedral or sweep it affects speed bleed.

I havent had to add anything special to get speed bleed once I set it all to historic values it falls out.

well, contrary to popular belief it worked.. lol

I made all the pylons permanently visible and added a small cylindrical drag to each mount under the wings, this has reduced the top speed as recommended by Tom to about 390/400mph unloaded in level flight, and given me that extra E Bleed in turns and climbs, so barring haven given it too much drag the FM is now complete, and should the drag be too much, I'll simply delete 2 drag foils, 1 from a pylon under each wing, so even if the specs i.e. aifoil data etc aren't perfect as per data on the aircraft, it still flies exactly the way it should

not long now till an official beta release me thinks
