I have Jane's WW2 fighers and can extract the wireframe models from it. I haven't created any planes in SDOE (yet), but would these wireframes help anyone begin a new plane? I don't know what you may be trying to make, but the wire frames I can get are:
ME109, FW190, ME262, Spitfire, P51, P47, P38, B17, B24, B26, C47, V1 rocket, HE111, JU88, AR234.
I've been away from SDOE for some time, so forgive me for including planes that are not needed. If you think that one of these models might help, let me know what kind of a format you would like it in.

Thanks for the offer Praetorian. Could you please send the C-47 to me as a jpg. I hope to start on it soon.

Here is my email.

Praetorian, have you seen the other posts on this board about people looking for mod help with WW2 Fighters?

If you can take out the model, can you also put in a new model?

Over at WW2 Fighters Online, they are trying to do this, but need some help. Have a look. They are making great skins too.

Yeah, I'm the one over there working on this. I was stuck trying to figure out what file format to use (wanted to make it a one-step process), but that doesn't seem to be going very far. The DXF format doesn't have everything needed in it. I'm going to try to get more work done on this tonight, but we'll see how far I get.

Wow Praetorian, Thank you very much. The C-47 imported into AC3D with no problem, complete with textures. I have not tried to work on it yet, but it should be a big help.

I will see if I can import parts as lod's to an existing plane. Hope we can edit this in OPS, that would be great for both the SDOE and WWII communities.

Great work, thanks again.
