POSTING PICTURES WON'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a simple command type open square barcket img close square barcket paste in the address of the picture, which I've been getting by right clicking the picture and selecting properties. Paste it in, followed by the img bit again, but with a slash in front. It works, I can see the picture. Then I check from elsewhere and no picture.....just a red cross... The website is on 20m, tried xoon, it was rubish, tried Tripod, got so fed up losign the server connection I kicked them into touch. Took me 2 hours once just to upload one picture! I shall post a link to the site in future, just so people can see what I wanted to show. Bummer. The site is a five minute instant jobby, but if it works.... HELP!!!! This is really bugging me.
