The 109k 30mm shells have 4 times the warhead weight of the me262 30mm guns.

Hmm... maybe a cut and paste doc of loadouts - just copy the gun into the loadout.ppf from the doc and change the gun name. Kopper had a list of guns with their muzzel velocity.

yes.

Damn good idea.

If we can set up a realistic and balanced set of values, from a base doc of loadouts, it would be really helpfull. If it added the odd heavy gun or too, 50mm etc. this would help balance things. If someone does something out of the ordinary, guess work is called for. This can lead to a lack of balance.

A good document with all the data would be really useful

Looks like email trouble again heres my reply to the last one I got:

--
I can make the pe-2 turn worse.. please send me the latest version.

Re: the I-16 it did turn very good in real life.. from my book:

"The german fighter ace Hans-Ekkehar Bob describes it as a 'Flying Phenomenon' as the I16-Mark5 could perform a full turn in 14 to 15 seconds." - It could easily out turn the 109F.

By comparison the Yak-1 took 19 to 20 seconds (similar to 109F), and the Mig-3 took 23 seconds

The I-16 was air cooled and the 109F was liquid cooled so a common tactic was headon attacks, often resulting in a coolant leak for the 109s (or collisions !). However, if hit from the side the I-16 had a tendancy to catch on fire.

Tailslide - you know I had some other work to do , but I'll send you the latest Pe-2 version ASAP when it is done. The I-16 could need some more time, but it should be ready in late october...

thx!

The loadouts are scewed something weird. That was the first thing I noticed with the DM project. Second problem is several types of rounds are not even in the loadouts, eg. 20mm or 30mm MINE round.

The fellow I have been trading info with on damage and ammo is in the process of revising his data based on some information I recently provided to him. This is one reason for the delay in my DM project.

*bows* the great one lives! The great one lives!

The only problem with explosives in SDOE is that they are a bit generous.

Some are very generous and they are out of wack in proportion to each other.
