Has anyone succeeded? I thought it'd be good to have some element of randomness in missions, but all my attempts have failed. Ideas?

it won't work.

The mission property files aren't parsed the same way as object property lists.

A newbie to OPS here having a play around...

Yes it does work for aircraft - or do you know that already?. I edited the tail section of the SpitMkVb so when it gets detached it smokes either red or green...

Not sure what else we can do with this but I'm going to try my limited skills out with it

I wonder what would happen online, would one player see green smoke and the other red?

What ever happened to the obProb idea with bombs? Werner I think got it working, but where it went from there, I missed.

Oh, it was to add dud bombs to the loadout so that on occasionally, you'd get a bad bomb.

Adding duds with obProb in the loadout.ppf file works fine.

perhaps I misunderstood.

I was only talking about the mission files themselves. They aren't processed through the normal object oriented methods that planes, terrain and building are. This means that obProb and other more object oriented properties can't be used in the mission files.
