How do you take two seperate curves and combine them and then apply a "cap" surface to the curves? I keep getting very undesirable effects. I want to make an "oval" shaped cylinder type object. Kinda like someone's head. Someone help!!!

I found some good tutorial links from Rhino3d a while back. One was making a head.........if this is for what I think it's for....... I'll see if I can dig them up for you. Rhino is Nurbs based, so they may help.IP: Logged |

Thanks Tailgunner! I recieved your mail and will look at them right away. I have been working on the pilot models mostly. I am thinking about scrapping the gunner model for the top turret and redoing that one all over. I also got started on a texture file of the pilot models' faces'. Their heads are now "smooth" Now all that needs to be completed is the smoothing of the upper and lower body areas, plus the limbs.------------------ Subaltern FarmerJoe Axis West Three Amigo IP: Logged |

Sounds like you've got some good stuff on the way. Can't wait to see it. I just hope I've got the rest of this ship in shape ready for when you are done.I've been working on some new engine nacelles that look much more round, and playing with wings and damage, but feel free to make any changes to turrets and people. If you need to change anything else, let me know, I have a long list of things I want to change and lots of stuff already being changed. Can't say too much yet, since I don't know if it will work. Mail me the gunners when they are ready, I can't wait to try them out! IP: Logged |

Call this crazy but I believe I have a way to make the inside of the b-17 look as if it were daytime outside and shaded on the inside. Not pitch black on the inside but of course the light would be brighter coming threw the windows. Put some breakable dofs on the b17 "12 to be precise" that are all the same length and tie them into the clock and make them turn like a clock. Have them at the bottom of the plane so that when the level starts the plane coming down onto the runway will cause one of the dofs to break and then just replace all the models inside with the correct models that the dof breaking triggered? Did I make sense?------------------ Subaltern FarmerJoe Axis West Three Amigo IP: Logged |
