When you reference a file from your "parent" .sm file can you issue commands to the referenced files? Such as executing a function.

I believe so.... because the cockpit canopys of the Fw-190s and Bf-109s are refrenced and they have DOFs.

I think not

DOF's and functions "inside" the reference do work, no problem. But "communication" between the parent-sm and its reference did not work. Of course I'm not 100% sure...

In the openplane.doc file it says that using FileReferences is the same as it being part of the parent .sm file. It should work from what the .doc says but I dunno.
