Does anybody know what gunFlak does in OpenPlane? It's not in the OP-documentation. You'll find it e.g. in the 3.7cm Flak.Peter IP: Logged |

Instead of an impact fuse the cannon shell has a proximity fuse.IP: Logged |

also, you MUST target what you want it to fire at, and it doesn't matter which way your gun is facing, you can face 180 degrees away from the target, and your flak will still hit! If you haven't selected a target, it goes nowhere. Not very good for fitting to a/c IP: Logged |

Boy, where did you get all that info from! Sounds like this was the parameter to delete if we want the AAA to be less deadly. Thanks for the input, guys! Peter IP: Logged |

LOL, I found all that out by adding it to my ships, all the testing done showed me the problem, thats why now on my ships I don't add flak that is easy to aim.. IE no target reticule, trying to put ppl off being a gunner in a flak mount cause they wont hit a thing not knowing you must target stuff first. I found out it doesn't matter which way the gun is facing by targeting a ship, then using F5 to view my target while rotating the gun 180 degrees... Flak is crappy cause of this really, I'd rather have it work on a proxy fuse, so you have to fire at a target to have it explode there.IP: Logged |
