Can a ground unit be made to fire rockets at aircraft? I would like to build an SAM site, but I don't know how the AI would handle rockets, straight off it wouldn't use them, but is there a way around this? Maybe Chaining the rockets through an MG so that they all fire together?

Ground launched rockets arent going to fly far, its just like firing a rocket in slew view.

You could make a 122mm barrel that fires rockets as shells though

oh I could make a SAM fly a long way if I knew it would be targeted properly working on that at the moment.. no success as of yet though.. it's a very old idea I mentioned to Pete Hawk when he released the F14.. I'm finding I can't get AAM's to work, but I have very high hopes for SAM, they will work if done properly.. I'll do what I can, then have to ask an expert to "fine tune" it to get it finished though..

The finished product should be the Enzian or other experimental Luftwaffe SAM
