I'm having a little problem with the cargoship I'm working on. As I'm mapping two different tiff-files to one object I need to edit that LOD and change some texture indexes. To do this I use extractor/builder. But that results in my object beeing invisible in the game - even if I don't actually change anything in the LOD, just extract and rebuild.

In OPS everything still looks fine though and if I changed the indexes both mappings work. And if I use my object in the game before having extracted/rebuilt it then it looks fine with texture mapping working (except for those parts using the texture I haven't indexed yet). Anyone know a solution to this invisibility that extractor gives me?

BTW, is it possible to tile just a small part of a texture? In my case I want to tile the decking and at the moment I can only accomplish this with a separate tiff-file which ultimatly leads to the problem described above...

Sounds like sort of a texture-flag problem, but I'm not sure ! Check the texture flags of the new textures (you use new ones right ?) !

I found the cause of the problem... It was that I used mposis Teruzuki as the base .sm to work with. It's apparently not standard enough for extractor even if extractor doesn't complain when rebuilding it. So now I'm using the uboat instead and that works great.

Thanks anyway Laika!
