Does anyone know if its possible to only allow an event to occur if an aircraft is on the ground?
In my next project I'd like to try implementing adjustable convergence on the guns by putting them on a dof, but I'd prefer this only be possible when a plane is on the ground. Also, I'll try to put in a stall horn but it should not sound when the landing gear is down.

Setting gun convergence via a keystoke is easy so long as you only want 2 settings. Just look at my SE5a, the lews gun toggles its aim with the "q" key. You could have a key stroke toggle between to convergence settings.

Oh, also you can have 4 settings if you use 2 keys (like gears on a bike):

In Your Face = Dof1 near Dof2 near
Near = Dof1 near Dof2 far
Medium = Dof1 far Dof2 near
Far = Dof1 far Dof2 far

Just make Dof1 a parent of the Dof2 object and make the dof1 rotate twice as much as dof2.

But that might be a bit crazy

Thanks Sv,

I was hoping to be able to cycle through a few different predefined settings with a command like incConvergence or decConvergence, but Im new to DOF's so if i can only implement two settings per dof ill have to give this more consideration.

I would give anything for IF ELSE structure in openplane.
