Bryan...I am having problems with OPS none of the plugins will list in the plugin tab of the preference menu. Also instead of having that blue and green background I have a black background. What is causing this...It did it with current version and your beta version. I reinstalled win98 and directx none of those solved the problem please help I am fed up now.

Hi, I was having similar/as well as other problems with the recent OPS as well. I fixed it with updating my graphic card driver. ALSO, I noticed when I have special graphic chip related options ativated OPS would crash on me. Since I have figured out
this special relationship between my graphic card and OPS I have had no more problems (cross my fingers). OPS is a super program.
Don't give up, I'm sure you can get it working!

The background is read from a file called bg.bmp, in the same dir as OpenPlaneStudio.exe and the plugins are looked for in a dir called "plugins" off the main OPS dir. The plugins should be called *.ffp.

Maybe you extracted using "selected only" or no paths or something. Sorry for pulling those two out, I still do them all of the time

Okay this is gonna sound screwed up but I figured it out...Luckily I am a very patient individual and thats what gives me my composure in the air. Okay If I open up the dir openplane is in and click the bg.bmp file once and let windows show its little thumbnail preview then I load OPS then it works. Bryan I know where everything goes with this program...I've been usin it for quite a while =) You are doing a very good job on it BTW. Oh yeah while i am on the OPS subject here...How come when I export a lod from ops it exports all of it's childs lods too? Can I just export one of them? If not then how can I reimport them and have them correct, because they look okay in ops when I line them up and then in SDOE they are all jacked!

If you want to export a parent model, just delete all its children first. You won't have done anything to your model unless you hit "Save." Just reload the model to get the full thing back again.
