As CrossWind Sims (and hopefully others) pick up openplane, will Inertia being in charge of maintaining the 'official' version of Openplane to be purchased by companies for use in their sims, or will they have the ability to change parts of the API themselves?

The reason I ask is I was just wondering if you were planning on keeping versions of Openplane (ie 1.0 1.1..etc) That way aircraft development could proceed using new updates to Openplane (superchargers etc.) while users would know if such features would work in a certain sim that was Openplane version x compatible.

I'd personally like to see one version of the API so plane builders dont have to worry about which aircraft features will work in which sim.

heheh...ive been making some web pages this week and the differences between which javascript and css features Netscape and IE consider 'official' get to be very aggrivating
