ok i notice that the b-17 f doest seem to suffer the look I am a glider problem when engines damgaed ,but the 17G does ,also i really doent like the sounds of the 17 f is there a way to put the 17 g sounds in it?Also MH's beta he put out last year that a few of us tried(the first almost successful one) had seem to fix many things iee bomb bug and such,are we any closer? is there a way to nix that dreaded bomb bug somehow.I myself like flying the bigg bomber missions,then you hear the fighter jocks Bchn no framerates and why u have so many bombs. just a few thoughts i really want diff sounds for the 17f and the engines to stay on the 17g tho.

I still have the version of the B17 Falck made with the bombs on pylons in the bomb bay. This appeared to fix the bomb bug problem.

Also the engines used to stay on the b17 they started falling off again in 5.3 so this older one they probably still stay on.

You can put different sounds in the F model...just make a new folder called b17f and make a sounds folder and put whatever you like in...they are separate planes and can have separate files.

Hey Tail how is that one for fps? maybe we could implement it as another version,also what do i want to put in the sounds folder for the b-17F ie where do i find the b-17g sounds?

Try the B17G sounds folder. (if you want Meatwater's sounds and have it installed). You may have to change some file names if they say b17g but I think most are general names.

I just posted about the engine disappearing property in another spot. I want them back. I like the idea of the bombs in the bay that TS mentioned. Where can I get this version?
